Lift ships to the lake

Like the Panama Canal: flights of locks climbing from two oceans to a lake up high. Work the gates, let the water run through the culverts and find its level, and bring every cargo ship to its harbour.

How to play

Tap the glowing gate or ship.

  • GatesTap a gate: water runs through the culverts below until both sides are level, keeping its volume. The lake fills a lock to its own level, an ocean drains it. Once level, the gate rolls open.
  • More shipsTap a ship, then the mark in a neighbouring basin: if the gate stands open, the electric mules tow it through. A lock holds two ships, the lake and the oceans three.
  • Low bridgesShips need a unit of water under them and must clear low bridges: a tall ship only fits under one when the water is low. A gate that would break this stays shut.
