Chain the numbers, merge them

Drag across the numbers to build a chain: start with two equal numbers, each next one the same as the last or double it, in any of eight directions. Let go and the chain becomes one bigger number while new ones drop in from above. Reach 2048, and beyond!

How to play

Join two equal numbers with your finger

  • Adding up a chainLet go and the chain's sum becomes the first power of two at or above it (2+2 → 4, 2+2+4 → 8, 4+4+4 → 16), where the chain ended. You score that number.
  • Numbers growNew numbers drop into the gaps from above. When your highest number reaches 4096, the smallest numbers leave the board and new ones grow bigger.
