Dodge the hearts and the queen

The classic four-player card game. Every heart costs a point and the queen of spades 13, so try not to take them. Take them all and you shoot the moon: everyone else gets 26. When someone reaches 100, the lowest total wins.

How to play

In Hearts you want as few points as possible: each heart is 1, the queen of spades 13.

  • Pass cardsEach hand starts by passing 3 cards: left, right, across, and then a hand without passing.
  • Get rid of pointsYou have none of that suit: a good moment to drop a point card.
  • Hearts are closedHearts cannot lead until a heart has been played, unless you hold nothing else.
